Curtains Down on G & A 2016; Unprecedented Scale Stunning Attendees

Packed with exciting concurrent activities, state-of-the-art amusement products and immense business opportunities, China (Zhongshan) International Games & Amusement Fair 2016 (G & A 2016) ended on a high note this October.
Unprecedented Exhibition Scale
G & A 2016 spanned over 100,000㎡ (25,000㎡more than last edition), held in Guangdong Game & Amusement Culture Industry City and Zhongshan Expo Center respectively, attracting more than 400 exhibitors with 1,500 exhibition booths.
The number of professionals was 35,000(Person-times). About 350 oversea companies registered to visit and their origins ranged from Middle East, Africa, North America, Europe to South America, Southeast Asia, East Asia, etc. An estimated trade volume of 3.6 billion RMB, which was calculated based on the purchase intention showed on site, strongly proved the effectiveness of G & A 2016.
First-rate Enterprise With State-of-the-art Products
Visitors of G & A 2016 were very lucky to be treated with a wide variety of the latest game and amusement products presented by first-rate enterprises from all over the world. This year’s exhibits were roughly divided into 4 genres, which were theme park equipment, water park equipment, children amusement, and game machine. New game and amusement equipment showcased on site totaled over 500 types. Especially VR products were one of the biggest highlight of G & A 2016.
Let us introduce to you some of this year’s featured exhibitors and the new products. Golden Dragon Group, the biggest amusement equipment manufacturer in Asia, brought their latest amusement ride, such as a large-scale rotary machine named after the movie Monkey King: Hero Is Back, a VR ride called Heroic Dream, etc. Golden Horse, whose products were well received worldwide, demonstrated their glass-free 3D ride Wild Adventure and blood-curdling Rotating Roller Coaster. Movie Power, specialized in multidimensional cinema equipment, harvest numerous visitors’ attention with their VR Racing, VR Space Time and VR Family. Delta Strike from New Zealand gained extensive popularity among adventurous visitors with their laser tag equipment. Dalang, the earliest water park equipment manufacturer in China, showcased their Space Carpet Slide, Badly Combination Slide and Barrel Roller Slide. G-look, one of China’s biggest children amusement equipment producers, displayed their latest products, such as Ocean Hockey, Mobile Castle, etc.
Exciting Concurrent Activities One After Another
Zhongshan Amusement Festival
In order to enrich the content of G & A, this year the organizing committee added to it the first edition of Zhongshan Amusement Festival, combining exhibition with e-sports, delicate food and wonderful performance. Many local tourist attraction showed their supports by opening their facilities to visitors for free experience, such as Grand Orient Wax Museum, G-look Land, Zhongshan Symphony Ferris Wheel, etc. Judging by the response of visitors, this bold innovation has been a great success.
2016 Conference on Chinese Cultural Products Marketing of Game & Amusement Products
With the supports of the government, The Conference was the biggest splash of G & A 2016,which mainly concentrated on the discussion of how China’s game and amusement industry can transform from “Made in China” to “Created in China”. The insights and analyses shared by those experts have greatly enlightened the audience. Excellent speeches were given by Mr. Thomas Kozlowski, Ex-director of development management at Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) and Founder and CEO of EDG, Mr. David Gao, Founder of Entbrains and President of Digital and Creative Industry Academy of Entbrains, Mr. Lv Xuefeng, Chairman of Universal Space and other 4 speakers from Italy, Malaysia, India and Indonesia.
2016 China Real Estate, Culture & Tourism Industry Investment & Financing Matchmaking Meeting (Autumn Session)
As China’s first cooperation platform for amusement enterprises, real estate developers and financiers, the meeting again helped effectively integrate industry resources. During the meeting, 4 tourism projects reached an agreement, expected to generate profits worth tens of millions of RMB. The meeting has yielded considerable success and now let’s look forward to the spring session neat year at AAA (2017 Asia Amusement & Attraction Expo)!
Without the help of more than 250 domestic and international media partners, such as newspaper, associations, professional websites, magazines, relevant exhibitions, G & A 2016 could never have been such a smashing success.
